The Outsiders is a touring Broadway musical adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s coming-of-age novel that dramatizes the rivalry between working-class “Greasers” and wealthier “Socs.” It plays at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles as part of a nationwide tour and is notable for its dynamic, physical staging and cinematic production design. The show won multiple Tony Awards including Best Musical and features a book by Adam Rapp and Justin Levine with music by Jamestown Revival and Justin Levine, directed by Danya Taymor.
