Helix Collective premieres concert pieces and media music reimagined for the stage by film, television, and video game composers from the Composers Diversity Collective. The 10-piece film music ensemble with conductor Phil Popham will premiere works by composers including Michael Abels (Get Out, Us), four-time Emmy winning composer Vivek Maddala, Dara Taylor (The Tender Bar), Sherri Chung (Riverdale, The Red Line), Emmy Nominated composer Tony Morales, Jongnic Bontemps (4400), Vidjay Beerepoot (Bruxelles), and busy media composers Amritha Vaz, Sid de la Cruz, and Ghiya Rhushidat. This concert is made possible in part by a grant from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs and a grant from the L.A. County Department of Arts and Culture.
